We are heartbroken over the loss of our little Brody (Bro-Man). He was a living Angel. We honestly can't believe how this little guy touched so many people. Sometimes the smallest feet make the biggest impressions. We love all you guys. Please keep our family in your prayers for weeks, months and years to come. Make our family a special promise, every time you hear the names Jay, Amy, Dylan, Trevor or Brody, think of our little Angel. We never want people to forget what he has meant to this world.
We love you Bro-Man.

Random Acts of Kindness
A wonderful person paid for my coffee and breakfast sandwich in the drive thru at starbux in Statesville last week. It had already been a hectic day and I was overwhelmed. Then I got this card and my whole day wasn't so bad anymore... brightened is an understatement. I'm a social worker. I know lots of families and precious children who could use some kindness right now. While I cannot tell you of my 1st two random acts of kindness that day (confidentiality & hipaa), I can say 2 kiddos will have a merrier Christmas because of Brody.
Today, I ran across this article: http://www.examiner.com/article/betrayed-dog-looks-at-family-leaving-sign-says-he-can-be-killed-immediately ... I'm happy to report Romeo has been rescued by a no kill rescue and we donated funds in Brody's memory. I pray he gets a family with a child who loves him. Thank you for making MY day(s) better, too. Kindness is contagious... ♡

Love
My love for Brody started before he entered this world on 12/31/11. His birth ended a very dark & difficult year for the Thompson family. One of my first thoughts was boy will he have some good birthdays...new year's eve & birthday, lol!!! Brody & I had a very special bond-I anticipated his birth with my whole being. I threw my entire soul into that beautiful, boundless, blonde, ball of energy & laughter!!!! He had such a twinkle of mischief in those beautiful blue/green eyes. His smile was contagious. Words are not written to describe his loss.

BroMan...A name to remember
This website is a beautiful way to honor Brody's name. BroMans precious smile will be cherished always. Brody was a light in the lives of so many! Brody didn't have to do much convincing to get someone to love him. But boy did I have to convince him..... So glad I finally traded in my Yankees hat for a Braves! After that... He loved me! I played Buzz at ball games, cars on blankets.... And helped his mama, papaw and nana, chase him down at games. But one of my favorite memories of BroMan is rocking him at Haley's watching Tom and Jerry, and hearing him giggle....he would grab my finger and we would go back and forth to his mama and daddy just so he could make sure they were still there. Then we went back to rock some more and laugh! Each time Jerry tricked Tom, Brody would crack up. So glad I let that little finger guide me. My family and I are so glad to have the priveledge to be friends with such wonderful people. Our chosen families are just as treasured.
BroMan soar high with your Angel wings.... to infinity and beyond little buddy.
